We Cannot Allow Feminists to Remove the ‘Good’ from Womanhood

August 12, 2024 – Women’s Liberation has taken a bizarre turn, to the point encouraging women to become “liberated” from their clothing:

Lubna Jaffery, Norwegian Minister of Culture and Equality, pulled up her blouse and shook her pastie-covered breasts, to the delight of members of the Pride audience (1).
A shrieking woman at an airport in India removed nearly all her clothes and chased after a male security guard, demanding to have sex with him (2).
Last week Olivia Chow, mayor of Toronto, Canada, marched in the annual Caribana Parade, festooned with a skin-tight, high-hipped costume designed to accentuate her lady-parts (3).

Indeed, recent commentaries by female writers around the world reveal the increasingly misguided focus of feminist activism, to the detriment of women’s happiness and mental health.

Transgenderism: Many differences between men and women are rooted in biology. But feminists categorically deny this fact, insisting that biology has no impact on a person’s physical abilities. Such beliefs provided the justification for the recent Olympic blow-up involving Italian boxer Angela Carini and Algerian Imane Khelif (4).

Canadian writer Janice Fiamengo derides such unscientific claims as “a terrible feminist idea.” (5)

Domestic Violence: Hundreds of studies show women are as likely as men to be perpetrators of domestic violence (6). Just last week, U.K. media outlets reported the sentencing of Winter Swan-Miller to life imprisonment for fatally stabbing her live-in boyfriend, Stuart Crocker, 27 times (7). Despite such horrific incidents, feminists inexplicably continue to deny the existence of female-perpetrated abuse, and even reverse the truth to vilify men.

In Australia, Bettina Arndt just published a searing exposé that documents how feminists are spending billions of dollars to bankroll a one-sided media effort (8). The campaign exploits the abuse issue to promote “structural and systemic change” — Marxist code-words for destroying the family and sidelining men.

Karens: Numerous reports have documented an epidemic of mental illness among feminists (9). Cognitive distortions pertaining to transgenderism, domestic violence, and other issues inevitably affect women’s overall mental health.

In the United States, “Karen” now refers to a woman who presents herself as entitled or excessively demanding (10). Commentator Miranda Devine recently ridiculed the “self-involved, neurotic, dogmatic Dem-fem who insists on telling you her pronouns and whose highest goal is abortion on demand right up until the moment of birth.” (11)

A cult can be defined as a “group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister.” By that definition, feminism has become a cult that is endangering the mental health of millions of women around the world.
