International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Men

Singer-dancer Britney Spears, pictured above, was known to be a domestic abuser. Her husband Sam Asghari “frequently complained about Britney getting physical with him.” On one occasion, Spears gave him a black eye while he was asleep. She kept numerous knives around the home (above, middle), leaving him fearful that Spears would “fly off the handle.” Another photograph revealed red bite marks on Asghari’s left arm (above, right).

The goal of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Men is to raise awareness of the public and policymakers about the epidemic of domestic violence and domestic abuse against men. In 2024, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Men will be observed on Thursday, November 21.
