Reform UN Women

UN Women is the United Nations agency that claims to be working for “gender equality” and the “empowerment of women.” In practice, however, UN Women is a leading proponent of Marxist-inspired feminist ideology. For example, studies show women are equally likely as men to be perpetrators of domestic violence. But UN Women flatly denies the existence of female-initiated abuse, thereby creating a negative stereotype of men and creating barriers for abused men who are seeking help.

The UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights upholds the principle of equal rights for both men and women: “Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, color, [and] sex.” But UN Women’s concept of “gender equality” excludes any consideration of the 12 global disparities that affect men.

UN Women seeks to influence other UN agencies to focus solely on women, thereby depriving men of their fundamental human rights. These agencies include the UN Human Rights Council, World Health Organization, United Nations Development Programme, and others.

And UN Women has repeatedly engaged in disinformation, making false claims such as:

The Domestic Abuse and Violence International Alliance calls on the United Nations to remove the abuses of UN Women. DAVIA invites persons to express their concerns directly to their own UN ambassadors.

  • On March 12, 2024, DAVIA held a rally in New York City to protest the unfair policies of UN Women –>

Since 2000, DAVIA has issued dozens of press releases regarding UN Women, Human Rights Council, World Health Organization, and other UN entities — see below.
