Over the past 30 years, a global disinformation effort has been conducted, with devastating effects on men, women, and families.
Tell the Truth About Domestic Violence is an international media and advocacy campaign designed to expose the domestic violence “Big Lie,” the myth that only women are victims of domestic violence. The campaign is working to assure that domestic violence laws, policies, and practices are based on science — not ideology — and support the needs of all victims.
Organizations from the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, England, Ireland, and Portugal — members of the Domestic Abuse and Violence International Alliance — are participating in the campaign.
