UN’s Sima Bahous Must Resign for Enabling the Pummeling of Female Boxer

August 6, 2024 – Sima Bahous, executive director of UN Women, is a leading advocate for the transgender movement. Last week at the Paris Olympics, her advocacy nearly turned tragic as Italian boxer Angela Carini, a woman, was pitted against Imane Khelif, who was previously barred from a woman’s athletic event.

Within seconds of the opening bell, Khelif landed several blows, forcing Carini to forfeit the match. After the defeat was announced, Carini fell to her knees and began to cry. “I went to the ring to honor my father,” Carini lamented. “I have never felt a punch like this.” Italian prime minister Giorgia Meloni later remarked the fight “did not seem on an equal footing.” (1)

In the aftermath of the debacle, persons around the world have asked, How did the Olympics organizers allow such a mismatch to take place?

The answer lies with a cabal of powerful international organizations that have agreed to implement the goal, enunciated by Marxist Shulamith Firestone, to eliminate the “sex distinction itself: genital differences between human beings would no longer matter culturally…The tyranny of the biological family would be broken.” (2)

The global cabal includes UN Women. Following are just a few of many official statements and reports from UN Women advocating for transgender ideology:

Not surprisingly, UN Women’s stance has influenced other UN agencies to take similar extreme positions, including the World Health Organization (6), UNICEF (7), and the UN Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights (8).

Ironically, the Carini-Khelif debacle occurred just as a growing number of studies question the value of so-called “gender affirming” care for minors (9). In recent months, highly critical reports have been issued in the United Kingdom (10), Canada (11), United States (12), and Europe (13).

In addition, UN Women has adamantly refused to recognize the existence of female-perpetrated domestic violence (14), thereby depriving millions of abuse-prone women of needed counseling services.

UN Women has been engulfed in numerous other scandals in the past year (15). Canadian commentator Janice Fiamengo reveals (16):

“Whatever the issue, whether it’s AIDS, climate change, or COVID-19, UN Women always starts from the assumption that women are hardest hit and must receive special assistance …the emphasis is on separating women from men, making women aware of themselves as a subjugated group, and making women less reliant on men (and more reliant on government and global aid programs).”

The divisiveness, science denialism, and oversized influence of UN Women has reached the point of compromising the overall human rights mission and standing of the United Nations. It’s time for Sima Bahous to step down, and bring an end to crackpot science.
