United Nations Is Being Corrupted by the ‘Great Feminization’
March 19, 2026 – The “Great Feminization” refers to the fact that many institutions are controlled by women who resort to gossip, ostracism, and shunning to advance their particular agendas. Commentator Helen Andrews posits the Great Feminization is “simply what women do whenever there are enough of them in a given organization or field.” (1)
The Great Feminization represents a singular threat to fields that rely on open inquiry (academia), intellectual honesty (journalism), or a commitment to basic fairness. Andrews asserts the Great Feminization portends the decline of meritocracy among women and the elimination of fairness for men.
The United Nations presents a prime example of the problems of the Great Feminization. There, Secretary-General Guterres has boasted that UN staffing patterns now exemplify “gender parity at senior levels.” (2) So it’s no surprise the Great Feminization has become embedded in the United Nations, and at UN Women in particular.
Following are seven ways the Great Feminization has compromised the UN’s historic commitment to truthfulness, fairness, and gender equality:
- Misrepresentation: UN Women makes the claim that “patriarchal power structures” are widespread around the world (3) – despite the fact that men are lagging behind women in 12 areas such as health status, educational attainment, harsh treatment by the legal system, and more (4).
- Sex Bias: At the United Nations, the core principle of gender equality has been abandoned in favor of “substantive gender equality.” Substantive gender equality refers to the Marxist notion that programs “must go beyond identical treatment and address systemic power imbalances.” (5)
- Female Supremacy: UN programs openly boast about their commitment to the “prioritization” of services for women (6). For example, a UNDP Toolkit openly calls for the “prioritization of women’s needs in national and subnational planning and recovery frameworks.” (7)
- Stereotyping of Men: Men are targets of online harassment as often, or even more often than women, according to numerous surveys (8). But last November, UN Women launched a social media campaign that only recognizes the existence of female victims of online harassment, thereby contributing to a stereotype of men as abusers (9).
- Manipulating Elections: In 2023 the United Nations established a “Gender Quota Portal” that monitors the development of election quotas around the world to advance the feminist goal of 50% of all lawmakers being female (10). Such quotas betray the long-recognized democratic principle of open and fair elections.
- Feminist Scholarship: Feminist scholarship refers to the widely held skewed belief that scientific objectivity is an “unattainable and indeed undesirable goal,” in the words of feminist Adrienne Barnett (11). The prevalence of misleading and dishonest claims in UN Women publications reveals the troubling acceptance of feminist scholarship within that agency.
- Propaganda: A third-party analysis of tweets issued by UN Women reached this disturbing conclusion: “Overall, the findings show that UN Women regularly uses feminist propaganda on X. UN Women’s tweets are often inaccurate, biased, contradictory, unprofessional, overly emotional, and lacking in common decency and empathy for boys and men.” (12)
Secretary-General Guterres recently revealed that the United Nations faces “imminent financial collapse” arising from the non-payment of dues by member countries (13). These countries will be more likely to satisfy their financial obligations when they see the UN returning to its founding principles of equal rights and opportunities for men and women.
The Domestic Abuse and Violence International Alliance – DAVIA — unites 230 member organizations from 42 countries in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America, and North America. DAVIA seeks to ensure that domestic violence and abuse policies are science-based, family-affirming, and gender-inclusive. https://endtodv.org/davia/
