PRESS RELEASE

UK Government Announces ‘Misogyny Taskforce’ – but Why No Misandry
Taskforce?

LONDON – 39th October 2026 — In September 2026 Andy Burnham’s Labour government announced a
taskforce to deal with ‘misogyny’ as part of its ten-year plan to halve
violence against women and girls. Anyone paying attention to culture
over the last couple of decades might wonder if Burnham wouldn’t be
better advised to set up a Misandry Taskforce. The sexes have been
equal in law since 2010, but the family courts, DEI and affirmative action
policies, and entire mainstream media are steeped in misandry. To have
one but not the other is contra the Equality Act 2010.
Chaired by the Minister for Women and Equalities, Bridget Phillipson, the
group’s primary objective is to uproot deeply entrenched misogynistic
attitudes and address the root causes of Violence Against Women and
Girls (VAWG).

This cloth-eared initiative was first amplified by Theresa May over the
#MeToo years, then Boris Johnson (who had his own alleged disputes
with now-wife Carrie), up to Keir Starmer. It was Starmer who introduced
the ‘believe the victim’ policy in the early 2010s when he was Director of
Public Prosecutions, explicitly to get the numbers up for his ‘New Culture
Crimes’. The BTV policy has directly led to the epidemic of false
allegations against boys and men, which numbers between 70 and
90,000 per year (exact numbers are difficult due to how legal dominance
feminists in the police force count the figures).

So Starmer introduced the idea of halving violence against women and
girls in a decade after introducing a policy that incentivises up to
100,000 false allegations per year, then his even more ‘progressive’,
unmandated successor Andy Burnham pledges to continue the biased
grift. Interpersonal violence is not a gendered issue, with a third of
incidents being women on men, women starting most of the IPV, while
men indeed do more damage when they respond. The Johnny Depp-
Amber Heard case showed the world the toxic reality of these
allegations, with relationship fallout being used as leverage for all
manner of things, from money to access to children.
Burnham has been noticed as a chronic people-pleaser, the kind of
politician who likes to be liked, but will he be the only high profile MP in
the House of Commons other than Rupert Lowe of the Restore Britain
party to stick up for the rights of males in Parliament? Other noises he
has made on social issues since becoming prime minister have indicated
at least a desire for fairness, but he is surrounded by the Westminster
VAWG cartel, headed up by the deeply unpopular Jess Phillips.
Burnham needs to show if he’s able to read the room on the current
concern over the rights of men, and jettison the more divisive and
hateful elements of Phillips’ rhetoric. Ignoring false allegations against
boys and men while continuing the sexist, Equality Act defying VAWG
campaign is a clear early-reign red flag.
Even when the Supreme Court rules that Scottish law enforcement is incorrectly prosecuting allegations
of rape, nothing changes in law itself, as demonstrated by this new
petition by JIMS (Justice for Innocent Men Scotland)
