‘The Great Feminization’ and the Specter of Social Collapse

November 3, 2025 – Author Helen Andrews recently published a bombshell article titled The Great Feminization. Andrews cites a list of social institutions that are threatened by “feminization,” which she says arises from uniquely female group dynamics — consensus-obsessed, covert undermining, and social ostracism. These group dynamics are the driving force behind so-called “cancel culture.” (1)

Andrews contends that a feminized legal system threatens to replace objective evidence with emotional appeals, thereby eliminating the presumption of innocence and the rule of law. Andrews cites the example of Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court, and the unverified claim by Christine Blasey Ford that Kavanaugh had sexually assaulted her 35 years before.

“The masculine position was that, if Christine Blasey Ford can’t provide any concrete evidence that she and Kavanaugh were ever in the same room together, her accusations of rape cannot be allowed to ruin his life,” Andrews explains. “The feminine position was that her self-evident emotional response was itself a kind of credibility that the Senate committee must respect.”

Leading UK feminist Charlotte Proudman has taken the argument one step further: “When a complainant alleges rape, domestic abuse, or coercive control, the accused should not be permitted to seek findings that the complainant has ‘lied’ about the allegations.” (2)

Andrews deplores the threat of feminization in other sectors, as well:

“Since 2016, law schools have gotten a little bit more female every year; in 2024, they were 56 percent female. Psychology, once a predominantly male field, is now overwhelmingly female, with 75 percent of psychology doctorates going to women.” Andrews adds, “Institutions seem to have a tipping point, after which they become more and more feminized.”

To persons who assert these seismic changes simply highlight the idea that women are outperforming men, Andrews counters, “Feminization is not an organic result of women outcompeting men. It is an artificial result of social engineering, and if we take our thumb off the scale it will collapse within a generation.”

In addition, the nuclear family is under threat around the world from feminists who view the institution as an antiquated patriarchal structure (3). According to the Pew Research Center, in 1970, 67% of Americans ages 25-49 were living in a traditional family structure. Five decades later, that number had dropped to only 37%. (4)

The decline of the family has translated into a global depopulation crisis. The United Nations reports that two-thirds of the world’s population now lives in a country with fertility rates below the replacement level of 2.1 births per woman (5).

The Great Feminization is truly unprecedented,” Andrews warns. “No civilization in human history has ever experimented with letting women control so many vital institutions of our society.”

Highlighting how “we are currently at the in-between stage when law schools are majority female but the federal bench is still majority male,” Andrews concludes with an appeal to take prompt corrective action: “our window to do something about the Great Feminization is closing.”
