Surge of Female-Perpetrated Domestic Abuse is No Laughing Matter

January 2, 2024 – On December 30, officers from the UK National Crime Agency arrested Kimberlee Singler, wanted in the United States on two counts of child murder. Singler’s 9-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son had been found dead at their home two weeks ago. Singler was last seen on December 23. (1)

But ignoring tragic incidents such as this, feminists seek to make light of female-perpetrated violence (2). These are a few of many examples:

On one Facebook page in Australia, women bragged about domestic violence incidents such as, “I stabbed him with a fork and reversed over him in my car.” (3)
One article perversely boasted, “Have You Ever Beat Up Your Boyfriend? Cause, Uh, We Have” (4)
Jezebel magazine staffers remarked, “that one made us laugh really hard” after a woman admitted she had “slapped a guy when ‘he told me he thought he had breast cancer.’” (4)

The Kimberlee Singler case is not unique. In order to highlight the extent of the problem, all cases of female-perpetrated domestic abuse were tallied that had been reported by the media over an 8-month period in Utah, which is known to be a low-violence state (5).

Four of the incidents involved child abuse, and two arose from husband-murders:

May 16: Reyna Flores, 35, was sentenced to five years in prison for fatally abusing her son because he was difficult to potty train (6).

May 24: Kouri Richins murdered her husband in 2022, allegedly spiking his drink with fentanyl. The investigation revealed changes had been made to his life insurance policies shortly before his death (7),

August 17: Shanna Gardner was charged with first-degree murder in the 2022 shooting death of Jared Bridegan, a technology executive. The two reportedly were involved in a child custody dispute (8).

September 25: Estrella Meza-Ojeda, 18, was arrested for murdering her newborn baby. The woman admitted she dumped the infant’s body in Parleys Canyon (9).

October 23: Lisa Jo Vanderlinden, convicted of killing her foster son in 2020, was charged with abusing another child, leaving a red mark on his face for two days (10).

December 17: Ruby Franke, vlogger at @moms_of_truth, pled guilty to four counts of felony child abuse. The previous month her husband, Kevin Franke, had filed for divorce (11).

Internationally, mothers commit 72% of all infant homicides (12), and women are equally likely to engage in partner violence as men (13).

But the United Nations refuses to acknowledge even the existence of female-perpetrated abuse (14). Does the UN believe that women eliminating their children and partners is a joke?
