PRESS RELEASE
Multiple False Accuser Stacey Sharples Has Sentence Extended By
Attorney General
LONDON – 18th September 2026 — In September 2026, the Court of Appeal increased Stacey Sharples’ prison
sentence to seven years, ruling that her initial sentence was “unduly
lenient”.

Sharples, a 31-year-old mother from Bolton, had previously pleaded guilty
at Bolton Crown Court to 10 counts of perverting the course of justice for
falsely accusing 10 different men of rape.
‘The police continued to arrest men even after multiple false allegations
because UK police forces are legally mandated to treat every individual
report of rape as an entirely independent, serious crime’
. This is
itself on Stacey Sharples conviction for making false rape
allegations against 10 innocent men. http://Gov.UK
While Sharples’ team mounted no real defence, mental health was
(naturally) used in mitigation. Greater Manchester Police, who sat on
exonerating DNA evidence in the Andy Malkinson case for about 12 years,
were merely following Keir Starmer’s ‘believe the victims’ policy for their
own part in persecuting these men. So where are Starmer’s charges?

Between 2013 and 2019, Sharples met men across Greater Manchester on

Facebook and dating apps like Plenty of Fish and Badoo. A judge later

described her as a “sexual predator” who would bombard men with
intense expressions of affection and then report them for rape if they did
not respond or if they rejected her advances.

Her false allegations had devastating, life-altering impacts on the 10
innocent men. The vast majority were arrested and held in police custody,
while some had to undergo intimate forensic examinations. Because of
the lies, victims reported losing their jobs, their homes, their partners, and
access to their children, as well as suffering long-term mental health
trauma.
Sharples’ false claims sparked months-long police investigations, wasting
an estimated 264 hours of police time and costing taxpayers up to
£120,000. Police eventually uncovered the truth after repeatedly finding
severe inconsistencies in her lengthy recorded interviews, said the BBC.
Following a referral by the UK Attorney General Ellie Reeves, the Court of
Appeal quashed the original sentence. Lord Justice Popplewell stated that
the initial term did not properly reflect the extreme gravity of the false
allegations. He noted that had the victims been convicted, they would
have faced exceptionally long prison terms, and added that her actions
risked undermining real rape survivors. Her sentence was officially
increased to seven years.

The Stacey Sharples case echoes that of Eleanor Williams and Carl ‘Nick’
Beech before it. Beech falsely accused multiple high profile people of
many heinous crimes, including child murder and rape, leading then
Labour MP Tom Watson to label the accused ‘evil’, before being exposed
as a liar and collector of prohibited images himself. Jailed for 16 years, the
damage his actions wrought led to former Conservative MP Harvey Proctor
becoming the President of FACT (Falsely Accused in the Context of Trust).
Eleanor Williams falsely accused dozens of men in the north of England,
leading to similar damage, before it was revealed she was also a fantasist
who would hit herself with a hammer to cause the bruises.
Legal dominance feminists will endlessly claim that false allegations are
‘vanishingly rare’, but research by Dr Michael Naughton’s Empowering
The Innocent (ETI) and Patrick Graham puts the actual figure of FAs as
between 70,000 and 90,000 per year.

. Rape Crisis will say this is too many rapes going
unpunished; objective analysis says if police were able to prosecute these
allegations they absolutely would, being incentivised by promotion and
bonuses under Starmer’s ‘believe the victim’ policy. But they generally
can’t get over the prosecution bar.

While the mainstream media and politicians across the world continue in
their aggressive and unlawful gamma bias, there can only be more cases
like Beech, Williams and Sharples. All the while, in private, police from all
over the world will confirm that the vast majority of rape claims they deal
with are false.
