Has Global Feminism Turned into a Hate Movement?

August 5, 2026 – For years, feminists have sought to stereotype and demonize men, referring to them as “abusers,” “deadbeats,” “misogynists,” and worse. Mainstream media largely dismissed these claims as outliers, framing them as exceptions within a broader, presumably “enlightened” movement.

That dynamic is now shifting.

Two weeks ago, columnist Madison Colombo used the “H-word” in the title of her New York Post column: “Growing trend of hating men seems to backfire.” Colombo warned of rising “heteropessimism”—women’s growing disappointment with men (1).

Yet the issue is not that men have changed. Rather, many women have become more demanding, sexually promiscuous, and unrealistic in their expectations of the opposite sex.

In just the past month, the global effort to expose feminism’s hateful excesses has intensified:

  • Australia: Columnist Bettina Arndt regularly challenges feminist narratives, documenting how feminist-driven reports often invert the truth. In her July 2 column, she shows how a report on bias in Family Court falsely claimed the real bias was against women. Arndt ominously notes: “Buried in this feminist report is something genuinely radical: a campaign to redefine due process itself as misconduct.” (2)
  • Canada: Last week, writer Janice Fiamengo published a sharp critique titled “Whine and Poses: Feminists Confront Antifeminist Ideologies.” (3) She charges that a recent government report on the Status of Women promotes “falsehoods, bigotry, female supremacism, anti-western animus, injustice, hatred, fanaticism, and incitement to violence,” concluding that the document advances “gender-fascist policies.”
  • India: Siya Goyal has been charged with the murder of her fiancé. Writer Vandana Shah explains how the case has sparked widespread media debate about women who deploy multiple “victim cards” to evade accountability. “By swiping all these cards, Siya and her ilk have set back the feminist movement and distracted from the real issues that women face,” Shah reveals (4).
  • Switzerland: Psychiatrist Hannah Spier, author of the Psychobabble Substack, is an unrelenting critic of feminism. She argues that feminism was never primarily about equality or rights, but has always been an ideology rooted in resentment toward men (5).
  • United States: American men live five years fewer than women on average, even though the right to life is considered the most fundamental right. Yet feminists oppose creating a single Office of Men’s Health, while seven Offices of Women’s Health already operate within the federal government (6).
  • United Nations: At the UN, feminism has evolved into a vehicle for radical policy. A recent Center for Family and Human Rights report details how feminist groups “have used the Women, Peace, and Security platform…to infiltrate the Security Council with their feminist agenda.” (7)

The Marxist origins of feminism are well documented (8). For years, however, feminists advanced their cause under the banner of “gender equality” and “equal rights for women.” It is now incumbent on the mass media to report honestly on the movement’s true agenda.
