Former Feminist Speaks the Unspeakable Truth About Feminism
August 31, 2026 – Over the years, many persons have spoken out in criticism of feminist ideology — and their voices have been largely ignored. But now, a former feminist has decided to speak her truth boldly, fearlessly, and without obfuscation.
In The Goddess That Failed, Janice Fiamengo eloquently expounds on the many ways that feminism has betrayed women, men, families, and civilization itself. It is a sobering picture.
Fiamengo was once a card-carrying feminist. “I know feminism well, having being an adherent before I become a critic…I understand the psychology and the history of the movement because I lived inside it for many years.”
Below are excerpts from the chapters of Fiamengo’s recently published, 215-page book (1):
The Big Lie of Feminism: “In reality, feminism is not interested in equality, having trapped the sexes in a decades-long gender war in which women see themselves as men’s perennial victims and are given permission to be their worst selves.”
How Universities Radicalized Young Women: Beginning in the 1970s, ”unwary students were introduced to Marxist propaganda, celebrations of lesbianism, allegations of white supremacy, and conspiracy theories about rape culture.”
Women and Rage: “One of the most evident effects of feminism’s insistence on female victimhood has been, not surprisingly, a great deal of outrage on women’s part…’If you’re not angry, you’re not paying attention,’ their placards read.”
The Empathy Gap: “Exemplary men have been at times rewarded for their success, and may have been individually respected, but men’s feelings of pain, fear, or unmet longing could not be and were not generally cared about. A society cannot agonize over men’s pain when their sacrifice is necessary for society’s good.”
Women and (Penis) Envy: Feminists have sought to dramatically expand “the domain of sexual misconduct to include even harmless acts of touch as hugging or kissing, and by introducing doctrines such as rape culture and affirmative consent to whip up paranoia.”
Women and Sexual Violence: “Researchers who study domestic violence, for example, have known for decades that women engage in non-lethal violence against their intimate partners at equal or higher rates than men.”
Sons of Feminism: “Nowhere is the destructive impact of feminist ideology more evident than in the relationship of feminist mothers and their sons…Many mothers report engaging in male shaming rituals, making clear to their boys the many ways in which they are likely to disappoint.”
The Attack on Faithfulness: Frederick Engel’s anti-marriage contention that ‘In the family, [the man] is the bourgeois; the wife represents the proletariat’ has given women near-unlimited permission not only to betray or discard tiresome husbands as an act of liberation, but also to actively undermine their own and other women’s marital unions.”
The Long War on Fathers: “Feminists routinely deny that fathers bring anything important to their children’s lives, and advocate for policies and laws that circumscribe a divorce or unmarried father’s right to parent his children.”
Mothers Who Kill: Even when “women harm the most vulnerable amongst us, we are unwilling to condemn the acts, fully punish the perpetrators, or revise our belief in female moral innocence.”
The End of Due Process: “Feminist activists no longer hide their desire to change the law so that fewer men, in the future, can attempt a successful legal defense.”
In the final chapter of The Goddess that Failed, Fiamengo saves the best for last:
- “There has never been an ideology so destructive of cooperation and fellow-feeling between the sexes…How can we build strong communities when boys are condemned for their masculinity and girls are raised to resent them?”
- “Women’s role for centuries was to nurture children and to pass on wisdom, to support their husbands and families, to excel at home-making, and to offer comfort. Now we see women who are violent, vengeful, bitter, and destructive.”
Fiamengo concludes her tour de force by issuing this blunt warning: “Feminism is a malign and existentially dangerous ideology. I urge women and men to reject it and condemn it.”
