Crazed Women Increasingly Resort to Progressive Activism

August 11, 2025 – American Eagle recently launched its “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans” ad campaign that features the popular actress dressed in denim. Unexpectedly, the ads triggered a full-scale meltdown among progressive women. They exploded with irrational claims that the ad relies on “Nazi propaganda” to foster notions of “genetic superiority” and “white supremacy” (1).

Such bizarre statements can be viewed as a form of delusional psychosis.

Indeed, progressive women have long been seen as foot soldiers for radical movements. “It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers-out of unorthodoxy,” George Orwell revealed decades ago in his classic tome, 1984.

Just last week, commentator Lisa Britton explained, “It’s increasingly evident that many of my critics aren’t seeking fairness, valuing the sexes equally, mutual respect or gender harmony. Instead, they appear to want female dominance and retribution for past injustices.” (2)

Not coincidentally, young liberal women are reporting high levels of mental illness, as well (3).

The trend of women embracing far-left political ideologies has been documented around the world: Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Tunisia, South Korea, and China (4).

Domestic violence and sexual assault are areas in which feminists are especially prone to resort to extreme tactics:

Australia: Despite clear evidence that men and women are equal opportunity abuse perpetrators (5), gender activists are pursuing an Orwellian campaign to eliminate the existence of male victims from official government reports (6).

India: Feminists are exploiting laws that allow women to claim they have been raped based on the allegation of a man’s false promise of marriage (7). In Delhi, 18% of rape cases were registered under the pretext of false promise of marriage. In an additional 21% of cases, the allegation was found to be false, according to an analysis by the Indian National Bar Association (8).

Northern Ireland: An August 3 article in the Belfast Telegraph made a series of inflammatory claims that are so far-fetched as to be obviously untrue, such as, “Whenever a woman is murdered in Northern Ireland, her name is then used by abusers to threaten their victims with.” (9) The article made no mention of the recent study in that country that found seven in 10 male victims of domestic violence had considered suicide (10).

Australian commentator Claire Lehmann, founder of Quillette, offers thoughtful insights into the global radicalization of young women (11):

“Among Generation Z, a majority of women have become hyper-progressive in a relative short time-frame…Girls in particular are marinating in the rhetoric of radical ideology, framing the world in terms of victimhood and oppression.”

Since its founding in 2010, UN Women has utilized its extensive social media network to promote a world view that women are the unerring victims of the “patriarchy.” Such views ignore the fact that it’s men who are lagging behind women in 12 major areas (12).

And now, countries around the world are paying the price for the surge of female extremism.
