Reform the United Nations

The United Nations was established in 1945 with the lofty aims of ending war, affirming the “dignity and worth of the human person,” and achieving the “equal rights of men and women.” Eighty years later, the United Nations has fallen into a series of high profile scandals. Following is a partial listing:

Human Rights Council: Promoting false claims about parental alienation (see DAVIA web page).
World Health Organization: Ignoring the health disparities affecting men.
Security Council: Approving ill-founded resolutions about women as “peace-makers.”

Many of the worst human rights abuses are happening at UN Women, which claims to be working for “gender equality and the empowerment of women.” In 2021, DAVIA sent a letter to UN Women requesting that its #16 Days campaign be expanded to include all persons. To date, UN Women still refuses to acknowledge the existence of female abusers or male victims. Worse, UN Women has repeatedly engaged in disinformation, making false claims that:

Women are “14 times higher at risk of dying due to climate change.”
70% of civilians killed in Gaza are women and children.
Violence against women and girls “remains the most widespread and pervasive human rights violation worldwide.”
